The aim of the project was to provide Finlogic and Redas Engineering with a mobile application for visitors to the Château de Chambord (France), enabling both indoor and outdoor navigation while collecting flow data to improve visitor management.
HOW WE
SOLVED IT
We developed a mobile app, available on iOS and Android, downloadable via QR code.
The app displays the visitor’s position on a map of the site using GPS. Interactive points of interest (POIs) are shown on the map; tapping on a POI opens a pop-up with detailed information. Additionally, when users approach a point of interest, the same information is automatically triggered via proximity-based notifications.
All visits to points of interest are anonymously recorded, enabling subsequent analysis of visitor flows.
KPI
Improve visitor flow within the castle.
Provide real-time data on visitor presence in specific areas via mobile devices.
Analyze collected data to enhance the visitor experience and optimize tour routes based on historical flow patterns.
