Cognosos Inc, a U.S. based company leader in RTLS solutions for Logistics and Healthcare, has been seeking a solution to solve the lack of visibility in yard operations in order to close the gap between transportation and warehouse management systems. Cognosos was specifically looking for a cost-effective solution able to leverage mobile devices and battery powered IoT sensors to locate and trace shipping containers during operations.

SOLVED IT
A dedicated SDK designed by Nextome and integrated into the mobile app developed by Cognosos made it possible to create a mobile solution for the operators able to locate and trace Logistics containers when in proximity. The solution leverages BLE beacons and GPS data providing extended supply chain visibility with unprecedented cost-effectiveness.
